Parisa and Adrien are from Belgium and they chose me to tell their wedding day that will be held on September in Italy. They will get married in the lovely Borgo Lucignanello, an ancient village with two streets and two churches, surrounded by the famous Tuscan hills.
They already knew the Val d’Orcia from having been on vacation there. It was love at first sight with its colors and wonderful landscapes!
And it’s difficult to blame them! The views of this area are among the most iconic of Tuscany and recall ancient territories made of cultivated fields, rows of cypresses and vineyards, crossed by white dirt roads typical of these hills.
For their engagement photo shoot we chose Pienza, the ‘ideal’ city of the Renaissance, which they already knew and which I discovered on this occasion.
I was really happy to shoot their couple session in this fascinating place, a real jewel that represent the Renaissance ideal of beauty and which has remained basically unchanged until today. Enjoy the pics!
