Stefan and Federica got hitched with a symbolic ceremony in Borgo Fregnano, and let me tell you, their rustic wedding photography in Emilia Romagna was one of my faves from last season. They're a fun-loving, high-energy couple who I clicked with right away. It's been a total blast working with them since their engagement photography session at Ca' Bevilacqua.
I adore symbolic ceremonies because they're the perfect way to celebrate a couple's love. They're more intimate than traditional weddings and can be customized with personal vows and speeches from loved ones. They're full of emotion, from tears to laughter, and, as a wedding photographer, I love capturing those moments in photos.
During Stefan and Federica's couple shoot, we used the greenery of Borgo Fregnano. I love working in this location for its variety of picturesque spots that allow me to remain close to the reception area. And this means not spending too much time away from the guests to capture beautiful couple photos.
Dinner was served in a rustic barn, and the cake cutting was under an iron dome. Although I'm familiar with the venue, I've never seen it decorated so beautifully before. Rows of enchanting lights recreated a magical starry sky.
It was a day of joy and celebration, as friends and family gathered to honor the love of this incredible couple. There were tears of happiness, dancing, and laughter throughout all the festivities.
Working with a couple who trusts and believes in my vision gives me a unique energy. It's truly an honor to document one of their most important days, and it always reminds me of how special my job is.
